The Kaarakin Black Cockatoo Conservation Centre is the only facility in Australia dedicated to the conservation and rehabilitation of black cockatoos. It costs approximately $1,000 to release just one bird back into the wild and it’s our goal to set a small flock free over time…please join us and become a part of this special project! In addition to these feel-good fuzzy vibes, each customer who orders one of these beautiful mats will get the chance to help us name the rehabilitated cockatoos we set free!
